2nd International Conference on Technological Advancements in Embedded and Mobile Systems ( ITCA- EMOS)

Under the theme Emerging Technologies and EMoS in Sustainable Development, the need for an Emerging Trends in Embedded and Mobile Systems (EMoS) scientific and technology conference has been widely discussed at higher learning institutions, with students, academics, and researchers finding it difficult to publish their fresh research discoveries. The 2nd International Conference on Technological Advancement in Embedded and Mobile Systems (ICTA – EMoS) will give an opportunity to the previous mentioned group to do profound research on EMoS and publish their novel findings, but also engage participants into face-to-face discussions and exchange ideas in their areas of expertise and interest.

2nd Pan-African Surgical Healthcare Forum (PASHeF)

The second PASHeF meeting hopes to gather State Ministers, Surgical Technical Officers who have previously attended PASHeF-I, and other key stakeholders hosted by the Honorable Minister for Health of Rwanda Health in collaboration with Smile Train, and UGHE in Kigali, Rwanda in August, or September 2024. The meeting will focus on the operationalization and implementation of the PASHeF 2023 Consensus Statement by the ministries and provide a platform to share country experiences as case studies from Member States covering the spectrum of the pillars of the health system: governance, infrastructure and equipment, essential medicines and supplies, human resources, health financing, health information management, health service delivery including primary health care as a means of sharing best practice in ensuring equitable delivery of surgical care in Africa. PASHeF II will also highlight experiences from partners and NGOs working in the surgical space in Africa and endeavor to develop a mechanism to harness and coordinate their efforts in support of member States in this regard.

The meeting will span two days, with the first day dedicated to convening technocrats who have participated in PASHeF-I, as well as those who were unable to attend. The second day will bring together both technocrats and state ministers of health.

This year, ICM will be hosting two regional conferences specially tailored for midwives seeking to enhance their skills beyond clinical practice, to build a successful midwife association. They will focus on important topics like leadership, finances, advocacy, and more.
The Africa and Eastern Mediterranean conference will bring together in Rwanda midwives and stakeholders from the region. The goal is to create a supportive and adaptable community in today's ever-changing world.

So why “Midwives360”? It symbolizes approach to midwifery from every angle – a complete circle. This conference aims to break down borders, fostering collaboration, innovation, and shared learning among midwives and addressing the 360-degree spectrum of challenges and opportunities that midwifery presents. Expect an engaging exploration of various dimensions of midwifery.

Key topics include using data for global advocacy, strengthening leadership, amplifying the impact of midwives' associations, and exploring models of midwife-led care. They will also discuss supporting women in humanitarian crises, advocating for increased investment in midwives' associations, and strategizing to reduce global maternal mortality.
The interactive formats, workshops, and networking events, ensure diverse participation and actionable outcomes.

Workshops
ICM's regional conferences will offer a series of workshops over three days. Day One and Day Two will focus on workshops that engage midwives to build their organisations – be these national midwives' associations, regional and local branches, or student organisations. Each day will feature three blocks of workshops, which will be repeated to ensure that delegates have the opportunity to attend all sessions. Additionally, poster presentation sessions will be held during the lunch breaks on these days.
Day Three will offer half- and full-day midwife practice skills workshops, covering a variety of topics, organised by ICM and its partners.

Africa's Food Systems Forum- AGRF, is the world's premier forum for African agriculture and food systems, bringing together stakeholders to take practical actions and share lessons that will move African food systems forward.

At the highest strategic level, the Forum is the premier platform for supporting the continental agricultural agenda, and it will measure progress in alignment with the African Union's leadership by reviewing data from the CAADP Biennial Review. The Forum will review Biennial Review indicators and data to understand which countries and regions and sub-sectors of the agricultural system are improving over time and which need more focus, and the AGRF's programmatic focus and platforms will structure their content to respond and continue to drive progress most helpfully.
